Dr. Olivia Herriford
Principal, Herriford Consulting
Dr. Olivia Herriford is founder and Principal Consultant of Herriford Consulting, a boutique consulting firm assisting leaders and teams with developing strategies and plans to execute initiatives such as technology implementation, operational improvement, business growth, organizational change, and workforce and education diversity. Dr. Olivia is also adjunct faculty for John F. Kennedy University and Walden University, teaching undergraduate and graduate management and leadership courses and mentoring doctoral students in the development and completion of their research. She has also developed and delivered leadership workshops and programs for nonprofits and public agencies and has extensive experience in project management, strategic planning, and group facilitation.
With a personal mission to continuously gain and share wisdom, Olivia’s passion lies in learning and service. She is the board Co-Chair for the Bayview Hunters Point YMCA and frequently donates her time to assist other nonprofits with planning and execution. After her first visit to Kenya in 2008, she has returned every year to serve and learn.
Kirsti Tcherkoyan –

Kirsti Tcherkoyan brings over 20 years of experience working closely with senior executives, mid-tier leaders, and teams in a multitude of industries. She brings solid business strategy to organizations focusing on culture, communication, leadership, and strategic thinking.
With an inherent passion for technology Kirsti, works with a wide diversity of clients from sophisticated tech stars to brick and mortar consumer financing and insurance brokerages. As a Certified Gazelles International coach, she employs principals based on the global bestseller written by Verne Harnish, Scaling Up. His methodology is used globally to show business leaders how to get their organizations moving in synch to create something significant.
Kirsti loves to work in the community and is the chairperson for the Council of Business Advisors, and lends her time and singing voice to the world famous Glide Ensemble. She also spends time in Kenya where she loves her work with young women entrepreneurs.
In 2012 she co-founded Options4Growth, a boutique consulting firm bringing both outsourced Human Resources support and Strategy and Execution Management services to a broad range of clientele.
Esther Muchiri is the founder and CEO of eMentoring Africa (eMA), a not-for-profit organization registered in Kenya. She has a passion for providing guidance, counseling, empowerment and motivation to students and youth to reach their full potential and seize opportunities. Hence, the vision of eMentoring Africa is to build a responsible society by imparting values, life-skills, integrity and professionalism to teenagers, youth, and young career graduates in Africa through mentoring. Esther has provided leadership and guidance in the development of numerous mentoring programs, and has conducted marriage counseling seminars to couples under the World Wide Marriage Encounter (WWME) movement. She is also the founder and CEO of Andest Bites Limited, a Kenyan company operating in the IT Enabled Services (ITES) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector. She is the Vice-Chairperson of the Kenya Information Technology and Outsourcing Services (KITOS). Esther is a Certified Mentoring Program Manager by Mentoring University, Boston USA (online). She has a vast experience as a Development Consultant working with the Government of Kenya and donor organizations. She has a MBA and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems and Technology from United States International University (USIU).
Wamuyu is the founder of The Youth Banner and served as its CEO for six years before transitioning to her current career as a small-to-medium enterprise business coach. She has more than 10 years experience in the field of youth and women enterprise development having chaired and led various organizations that deal with youth empowerment and business development.
Her engagement with Kenya Girl Guides Association, the Kenya National Youth Business Plan Competition, and The Youth Banner has earned her the distinguished ASHOKA Fellowship Award. She was awarded the Fellowship in recognition for her role in catalyzing entrepreneurship among Kenya’s rural and urban youth.
Wamuyu has played a key role in the promotion of employment generation through youth and women social enterprise development, empowering them through innovative opportunities. She is responsible for the design of the productive Youth Banner Experience, a handholding journey in business development for youth and women. She is responsible for the management and direction of the youth and women enterprise development team of The Youth Banner.
In addition to WSWI, Wamuyu has served on other boards among them Global Board of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, Griffin Worx, and the Technical Vocational & Educational Training ( TVET) Board – Nyeri County. Wamuyu has Bachelor of Arts and Design and Masters of Business Administration, Human Resources degrees. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Social Transformation –Entrepreneurship.
Wamuyu is married with three children, two girls and a boy, and one grandchild, and lives in Nyeri, Kenya.
Dr. Sandy Kolberg

With over 30 years academic experience and business background, Sandy brings solid business strategy to organizations in culture, communication, leadership development, strategic thinking and execution management. Sandy developed a series of workshops called The Essential Business Growth Tools utilizing personal profile assessments and current business tools to develop an integrated systems approach to communication and culture. Grounded programs utilizing strategic thinking including The Four Decisions ™ One Page Plan™ process and Keyne Insight, KeyneLink execution management process have provided her clients multiple ways to develop a learning environment and execute strategy, leadership and culture for their organizations.
Sandy has been a Renaissance Executive Forums CEO forum leader and facilitated the only Business Partners group in the franchise. She created and implemented the first business-mentoring program for the Phoenix National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and received awards in the categories of Unsung Hero and Innovation. Sandy holds a B.A. in English, Psychology, and Secondary Education. Her M.A. degrees are in Secondary Developmental Reading and Social Foundations. Sandy’s Ph.D. is in Philosophy, with emphasis on the social psychology of learning. Sandy is the PhD in Management program for the College of Management and Technology at Walden University.
